New England weather is very unpredictable. In the year of 2011, we have experienced many "1st Timers", which include a terrible Blizzard in January. It made record history of over 52 inches!!!. We also had a Tornadoe in Springfield, Mass area. Tropical Storm Irene, which did a lot of damage, especially on the shoreline of Connecticut. FEMA Stepped in after storm Irene giving Food Stamp cards for a 3 month period of time. The line for that service was extremely long. People camped out over night to get a card. Of course Police had to step in to control the crowds. Now arrives Storm Alfred!!
Storm Alfred, which reminds me of a Alfred Hitchcock movie has shocked alot of people. This storm is special in its own right, due to the fact The leaves on the trees could not handle the weight of the heavy, and WET snow that Storm Alfred produced. That caused trees, and light poles to break literally in half in some places. The trees, and poles destroyed homes, fences, and power lines. It is reported that over approximately ONE MILLION people is without power including myself!!
Goes to show you EVRYTHING has a time. The leaves NEED to fall before the Winter solstice begins. God knows that the trees cannot handle the weight of the snow if the leaves remains on it. Hence the chaos thats occuring currently. I woke up to the neighbors tree crashing through the front window. The fence broken down by a tree in our yard. The apple tree cracked in two in the back yard. The cable wire in the driveway, and the power lines hanging extremely low to the point we have to maneuver around it. AANNNND Power lines holding up a TREE waiting to fall!!! Laaawd Chaos!!
If this isn't a sign from God that he's arriving SOON.. I don't know what is!
